The Basics
WorldVentures is a network marketing company specializing in leisure travel products. The company was launched December 10, 2005, at the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino in Las Vegas, and is headquartered in Plano, Texas, a suburb of Dallas.
WorldVentures is privately owned and has been profitable as well as debt-free since the company was launched. WorldVentures markets three products: the Leisure Travel Consultant (LTC) Package, the DreamTrips Membership, and the Luxury DreamTrips Membership. The products are marketed via word-of-mouth and direct selling (also called network marketing or multi-level marketing).
As such, traditional advertising in television, radio, Internet, or newspapers is not used. Products are marketed by Independent Representatives (Reps) who earn commissions on the sale of each retail product. In addition, Reps have the opportunity to recruit new Representatives to build sales teams. Reps can then, in turn, earn overrides and bonuses off of the retail sales generated by their team. Nothing is paid to a Rep for recruiting new Representatives.
Someone looking at WorldVentures for the first time has the option of becoming a Member, a Representative, or both. No one is required to purchase a membership in order to become a Representative and no one is required to become a Representative in order to purchase a membership.
A person can only become a Representative through the purchase of our non-commissionable Representative Business System (RBS), which consists of marketing tools, reporting, training and other web-based content to help that person build his or her business.
